IN PALESTINE, COUNTING ON THE U.S. IS COUNTING ON A MIRAGE

The U.S. veto of the U.N. security resolution to stop Israel's violence against the people in the Gaza Strip disgusts me. As I'm sure it disgusts most the world. Too bad Americans don't see what's going on. We are, again, pimping for Israel and allowing them to do whatever they want, be it right or wrong, humane or inhumane. God it makes me sick.


Jerusalem-Ma'an- Palestinian Minister of State for Refugee Affairs, Dr Atef Adwan portrayed the latest American veto in the Security Council against the resolution to stop Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip as shameful and opposed to human values.

Dr Adwan told Ma'an: "This American stance is not new since American support to Israel is a part of the Palestinian problem. Everyone who expects the Americans to solve the Palestinian issue is definitely counting on mirage."

Regarding the Israeli objectives for their aggression, he said: "As the Israelis claim, they want to end resistance both in Gaza and Lebanon in order to pave the way for them to impose their own conditions and interests."
