Declaration of Energy Independence

Looking forward to celebrating America's Independence this July 4th? Today, May 31st, is Dependence Day. Starting in 2006, we will be relying solely on foreign oil from this day throughout the rest of the year. Dependence Day is being launched by Environmental Action as a national event to "pressure our leaders to act and to engage more Americans in winning our independence from oil".

Please visit the Environmental Action website, become more informed and sign their petition. There is no hope for a better tomorrow if we choose not to roll up our sleeves today.
