Public Pushes for Investigation of Iraq War
U.K. Court Hearing for November

A ruling by the U.K. Court of Appeal clears the way for a hearing on whether there can be an inquiry into the events surrounding the start of the Iraq war. The case was brought by families of U.K. soldiers killed in Iraq.

As reported in The Daily Mirror, the families' solicitor Phil Shiner said it was:
"A stunning victory which would force the government to put evidence before the judges to establish whether the decision to invade was lawful. The government must finally explain how the 13-page equivocal advice from the attorney general of March 7, 2003, was changed within 10 days to a one-page unequivocal advice that an invasion would be legal."
